Tim grew up outside Rhinebeck, New York, just miles away from what would become his alma mater, The Culinary Institute of America. After graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts, Tim spent time in the Pacific Northwest as a Sous Chef at the Sunriver Resort in central Oregon. He later returned to the East Coast and gained experience in the kitchens of some of Manhattan’s best restaurants, including Gotham Bar and Grill, Craft, and Mario Batali's Esca. Tim ended his tenure in New York City as part of the opening team of A Voce in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle. After earning his stripes as a cook in Manhattan, he moved outside the city to pursue a Sous Chef position at the Tokeneke Club in Darien, Connecticut, which he left when recruited to become the Sous Chef at Richard Gere’s Relais and Chateaux property, Bedford Post Inn. Most recently, Tim served as Executive Sous Chef for the historic Philadelphia Cricket Club. When not in the kitchen, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Aly, trying new restaurants, and hiking with their Australian Shepherd/Labrador mix, Bella and cat, Hank.
