Located in the heart of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, HVCC is a private golf, racquets, shooting, and swim club on more than 300 acres of land. HVCC offers plenty of opportunities for those interested in the hospitality industry.

Huntingdon Valley Country Club is looking for energetic and dedicated servers, bartenders, and line cooks to join our team.  In these roles, you will work alongside current team members at multiple dining venues and facilities on campus. Candidates should possess an efficient work ethic with a friendly professional demeanor.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Ability to read, speak and write the English language in order to communicate with guests.
  • Able to meet the physical demands and responsibilities of the position. The ability to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, climb stairs, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Previous experience working in hospitality / customer service is required.
  • Reliable transportation required (public transportation nearby)
  • Must have 1+ years experience in fine dining or private lubs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrive well groomed, on time, and dressed in the appropriate uniform.
  • Uphold the highest level of service for our members and their guests.
  • Participates in pre-shift meetings.
  • Detailing the restaurant and service areas to perfect order for member arrival.
  • Work as a team to go above and beyond for our members & their guests.
  • Adhere to quality, consistency, and efficiency expectations and standards.

SERVERS 
Service staff must possess complete knowledge of menu and answer questions from members/guests graciously and respectfully. Servers take food and beverage orders from guests and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Servers are expected to communicate any issues with food service or dining issues with their manager in a timely manner.

BENEFITS:

  • A great starting wage - $ 20 - $ 25 per hour (based on experience)
  • 6% - 8% of your sales, plus discretionary gratuity
  • Monthly team bonus structure up to 2% of individual sales

  • $ 250 Bonus after 30-Days & $ 500 after 90-days

BARTENDERS
Bartenders must possess knowledge of full bar services. They must also have a confident knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and spirits. Bartenders must have a true desire to create memorable experiences with members and guests!

BENEFITS:

  • A great starting wage - $ 17 - $ 20 per hour (based on experience)
  • 6% to 8% of your sales, plus discretionary gratuity
  • Monthly team bonus structure up to 2% of individual sales

SAUTÉ AND LINE COOKS
The successful candidate(s) will possess proven cooking experience, be energetic with a team-minded attitude, and enjoy a professional and progressive atmosphere with ability for upward growth. 

BENEFITS:

  • Up to $ 20 or higher based on experience.
  • $ 250 bonus after 30-days and an additional $ 500 after 90-days.

RUNNERS
Must deliver food orders from the kitchen rapidly and accurately.

BUSSERS
Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenish utensils, and being alert to spills or other special needs. Must assist in opening and closing duties for each shift.
