Huntingdon Valley Country Club is home to 27 holes of championship golf designed by famous golf course architect William Flynn. Play began in April of 1928. The club has a storied history of great Suburban League golf teams and a list of accomplished golfers none more prominent than the late Bill Hyndman, III. The golf operation has all of the amenities of a high end country club including: a fully stocked golf shop, practice range and short game facility, bag storage, locker room, and more.
Huntingdon Valley's golf course was designed by renowned architect William Flynn and play began on the 27-hole layout in April 1928. Flynn used the unusual property which features a wooded bowl with a stream at its bottom to great effect. The front nine is routed counter-clockwise around the top of the bowl while the back nine is laid out in a clockwise manner inside the front at the bottom of the bowl. Flynn's routing provides continuity and consistency to each side. Also, it is somehow comforting to see the holes during the round that you will play later.
