Racquets

Huntingdon Valley offers one of the top racquets programs in the Philadelphia area. Enjoy organized seasonal events in Tennis, Squash, Platform Tennis, Pickleball and Table Tennis on artificial and clay tennis courts, heated paddle tennis courts and two squash courts.

Racquets enthusiasts are able to participate in round robin play, tournaments, inter-club matches and a full range of lessons and clinics.

Meet the Pros

Tennis

Our mission is to provide professional tennis instruction with a strong focus on technique, court positioning, strategy (singles & doubles) and competition in a fun environment, fostering development and longevity in keeping with Huntingdon Valley Country Club's strong traditions in racquet sports.

Our racquets pavilion features a large and comfortable patio, overlooking our six red clay courts with plenty of seating and an outdoor fireplace. It is the perfect setting to watch a match or socialize with friends after casual round-robin play.

Squash

Huntingdon Valley has a strong tradition in squash, and our program dates back to the early 1900's. Our original squash courts were built in 1903 and we were one of the founding members of the United States Squash Racquets Association in 1904. The first ever inter-club squash tournament was hosted at Huntingdon Valley Country Club in 1904.

Huntingdon Valley offers one of the finest facilities in the Philadelphia area and our friendly staff welcomes all levels of players from beginners to advanced. Squash members at HVCC enjoy a variety of programs and services including competitive and recreation leagues, clinics and tournament play.

Platform Tennis

Huntingdon Valley's paddle tennis program has grown immensely over the years, and dates back to the 1980's before it became the popular sport it is today.

Come late fall and winter the Club transitions into our paddle tennis season where members can participate in fun, round-robin play, as well as competitive matches against other Clubs in the Philadelphia area.

HVCC's mission is to promote Platform Tennis as a legitimate fall and winter sport and to provide playing opportunities to anyone wanting to play - regardless of age or experience.
